29 Mar Intimacy by repentance

Has been feeling a layer of barrier between me and God for days, maybe weeks.

Took some time to spend with God. Has been reading this book titled “Life of an Intercessor” by Ester Tanumihardjo and was reminded to quickly repent of any “small” sins.

I happen to be fasting this period and over lunch went into the private room and prayed. Knelt down before the throne of God and repented of anything that came to mind: busyness, frustrations, impatience, lusting after beautiful Perth (we just returned to Indonesia from short Perth trip). I got back to seeking His Kingdom as top priority. Let go of any other desires and aligned my desires back to seeking His Kingdom and Righteousness.

Immediately the barriers lifted and intimacy improved. The Holy Spirit is more free to move, I am more sensitive to the Spirit.

The Lord also taught me about parenting: Discipline Children with Love and Protection.
